Rotary Clubs

During the 1930s a small number of recognized and highly appreciated citizens gathered together to form a Rotary Club. The outbreak of the World War II however interrupted the activities and so it continued under the Soviet reign. It was not until 1989 when the bells of freedom rang that Rotary Club chartered in Warsaw for the first time in almost 50 years. Today there is several Rotary Clubs in Warsaw, one of them - Rotary Club Wilanow - holds its meeting in English.
